Doris L. Kline

YORK – Doris Louise (King) Kline, 93, of York, formerly of Manchester, went to join her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Rest Haven in York.  She was the wife of the late Dale G. Kline whom she married on June 26, 1954.

Mrs. Kline was born April 17, 1930, in Pleasureville, York County, PA and was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Innerest) King.

She graduated in 1948 from the former North York High School in North York.   She retired as a secretary and bookkeeper from Gable Barber Supply.  She was a former member of the American Business Women’s Association and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Manchester, PA. 

Mrs. Kline is survived by her daughter, Diane Louise Wolf of York; her grandson, Matthew Wolf and his wife Lisa of Mechanicsburg; great grandchildren, Chloe, Daniel, Kristina, and nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Kline was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Andrea Louise Wolf, her son-in-law, Timothy Wolf, her brother, John King, Jr., and her companion Ralph Roberts.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kline will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 11, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA.  Her viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home.  Her burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend Kevin Shively from St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York.
