William A. Lehman
MOUNT WOLF – William A. Lehman, 73, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Susquehanna Rehabilitation Health Center in Columbia, Lancaster County, PA.
William was born November 2, 1950, in York and was the son of the late George and Donna (Hostetler) Lehman.
He graduated in 1968 from Northeastern High School in Manchester, PA. He worked as an electrician most of his life and was a member of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 and the Wago Club, both in Mount Wolf. He attended Otterbein Church in Mount Wolf. William proudly served his country in the United States Navy for six years during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1976.
William is survived by his sisters, Lorraine Martin and her husband, Colin of Mount Wolf, and Peggy Myers of Lindenhurst, NY, and nieces, Melissa Grass of Pittsburgh, and Jaime Bickard of Lindenhurst, NY, and 3 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
His memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. His visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. His burial will be private in Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery in Annville, PA. Officiating at his service will be James Winter, Sr. The York County Veteran Honor Guard will provide full military honors at the funeral home.
