Veterans Honors

When driving in the funeral procession to the place of burial, our funeral coach will be clearly marked with the American Flag and the military coat of arms emblem of the branch of service from which the veteran served. If the burial of your Veteran family member takes place in a national military cemetery, or your family cemetery, across the street, across the state, or across the country, the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center can arrange and organize military honors for him or her. For local burials, the final tribute will be performed by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. In the case of a loved one being buried at a national military cemetery those honors will be performed by the veterans honor guard from the cemetery. Whether a private cemetery, or a National Military Cemetery, we will provide bugler, flag bearers, 21 gun salute and flag folding in honor of the time and service which your loved one has so graciously given.

I appreciate the importance of the military service because of having a father and several uncles who served in the armed services. They have fought for our freedom and because of this it has allowed us to live freely. We are gratified to be called into action to provide an honorable and distinguished veteran’s service that honors your veteran for the service that he or she so proudly has given. Trust that we will exhaust all efforts to make your Military Honors Service a memorable one.
